Allotments

photo

The Parish Council owns land adjacent to the railway station, which is designated for allotments.

From the public footpath over the railway bridge, the land to left has been used for allotments for a considerable period of time and has established gardens on it. The land to the right side has recently been developed into a further 27 smaller plots with the assistance of grant aid from Warwickshire County Council Community Development Fund.

Allocation of plots – New applicants

If you are interested in becoming an allotment tenant please contact the Parish Clerk at the office on 01564 795499 or email clerk@henley-in-arden-pc.gov.uk.

If there are no vacant plots, your name will be placed on a waiting list and you will be contacted when a plot becomes available.

Existing Tenants
If you are already a tenant of a smaller, (north side) plot, and would like to be considered for a move to a south side plot when one becomes available then please contact the Clerk to ask for your name to be added to the list. When south side plots become vacant (a rare occurrence!), first refusal is given to existing tenants but please note you would have to be prepared to give up your existing plot as a ‘swop’ – you cannot hold more than the equivalent size of one south side plot or 2 half size north plots. When the swops take place the vacant plot will be put back onto the available list and offered to the person at the top of the waiting list.

SMALL AND LARGE PLOTS ARE NOW AVAILABLE!
